State Minister for Culture KM Khalid has announced that the historical architectural symbol of the Mughal period Hajiganj fort of Narayanganj city will be built as a tourist hub, as a tourist hub by conducting necessary reformation.
The Minister made this announcement while visiting the fort on Sunday. Khalid said that based on the court-ordered few weeks back illegal structure was evicted where the Narayanganj City Corporation (Nasik) renovated the area with gardening, lightening and other variety of ways.
Later, the Department of Archeology will make it a tourist hub, and accessible to the public for recreation. Also present - Mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation Selina Hayat Ivy, Deputy Commissioner Jasim Uddin, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Nahida Barik and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of City Corporation AFM Ehteshamul Haque and officials of the Department of Archeology.
