With an aim to cater to the needs of Micro and Small Enterprise (MSE), the Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS) has inaugurated its 146th branch on Monday at Sadar Upazila of Bogura district.
MSS President Feroz M. Hassan formally inaugurated the branch attending the ceremony as chief guest while Tarikul Ghani, Advisor of the organization was present as the special guest. Munawar Reza Khan, Executive Director of MSS presided over the function, officials of various levels of the organization and local dignitaries were also present on the occasion. Speaking as the chief guest, MSS President Feroz M. Hassan said, “Poverty rate has increased in the country due to the direct impact of Covid-19. Increasing unemployment and poverty, especially in some areas, have significantly deterred the country's socio-economic development.”
Tarikul Ghani, Adviser of the organization said, “With the objective of creating employment and alleviating poverty by providing necessary funding to various emerging and potential small entrepreneurs in different districts of the country, MSS is carrying out MSE loan activities which will be expanded across Bangladesh.”
Executive Director of MSS, Munawar Reza Khan said, “MSS is investing in food security, employment, poverty alleviation, maximum utilization of human resources and creating market connectivity.”
