MPO teachers begin transfer applications

Published : 01 Nov 2024 09:19 PM

The time has come for MPO teachers appointed by the NTRCA to seek mutual transfers in private educational institutions. The application process officially kicked off, allowing teachers to submit their requests until December 15. To apply, they simply need to visit the website www.dshe.gov.bd.

However, as teachers prepare their applications, they must keep in mind a few important conditions. Each online submission must include specific documents: a mutual transfer consent letter, a national identity card, and an NTRCA recommendation letter.

This process follows the announcement made by the Ministry of Education on August 1, which introduced the "Mutual Transfer Policy for Teachers Working in Private Schools and Colleges-2024." This policy specifically applies to teachers appointed through the NTRCA. It also stipulates that only applications from two teachers in the same position, accompanied by their written consent, will be considered for mutual transfers. There are some restrictions that applicants should note.

Teachers cannot request a transfer to a district that isn’t listed in their job application.

However, there is an exception for female teachers, who may apply to transfer to their husband’s district. Additionally, to be eligible for a transfer, teachers must have completed at least two years of service.

It’s crucial for applicants to ensure their submissions are complete and accurate, as any application with missing or incorrect information will be rejected. Furthermore, teachers are allowed to apply for a transfer only once during their career.

With the deadline approaching, the department strongly advises all applicants to carefully read the relevant guidelines before submitting their applications. This initiative marks a significant step for MPO teachers, allowing them greater flexibility in their careers, as highlighted in the policy released by the Ministry of Education on August 11.
