Moushumi to star in two new films

One of the most successful actresses in Dhallywood cinema Arifa Parvin Zaman Moushumi.  Although she is not as regular as before, she is now giving importance to movies with good stories and characters.  This time, the actress has signed two new films.

 The two films are Ashutosh Sujan's 'Deshantar' and Zahid Hossain's 'Sonar Chor'.

The movie 'Deshantar' based on the poem of poet Nirmalendu Goon is being made with government grant where the actress will play the lead role. The producer said that Moushumi Apa is perfect in the story of the film.  So she has been finalised for the film.  If all goes well, I will start shooting the film in October.

Regarding the movie Moushumi said, I have worked on the grant film before.  I have also acted in several plays of Ashutosh Sujan as well.  There are challenges and joys in working on such stories.  Hope the film will be good.

Meanwhile, the shooting of the movie titled 'Sonar Char' directed by Zahid Hossain is scheduled to start from September. Moushumi said that she will start the work of 'Deshantar' after finishing the shooting ‘Sonar Chor’.

The actress Moushumi has been shining through her acting skills in Dhallywood cinema for almost three decades.  She has worked in more than two hundred movies in her long career.  Among them, Nargis Akter directed film titled 'Meghla Akash' and Chashi Nazrul Islam directed film titled 'Devdas' won the National Film Award.

She is also success as a producer, her first directed film titled ‘Kokhono Megh Kokhono Brishti’. Then in 2006 she directed film titled 'Meher Nigar'.  After that she is made two more films titled 'Shunno Hridoy’ and 'Bhalobasboi To'.

Her popularity as a heroine as well as a model is expanding day by day. Besides, Moushumi is also working as a goodwill ambassador of some organizations.  She has served as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund.

Meanwhile, she will be the executive editor of a weekly magazine called 'Vision-2021'.  Recently, the appointment letter has been handed over to the actress on behalf of the newspaper.
