The Department of Business Administration (DBA) of East West University (EWU) organized a programme titled ‘Career Excellence Seminar and MoU Signing Ceremony’ on Thursday at the faculty lounge of the university.
High officials from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) also joined the seminar. As a part of the seminar, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between ICAB and EWU to offer an advanced pathway for chartered accountancy studies for students of EWU, along with many other mutual benefits for both organizations. Professor Dr Mohammed Farashuddin, Chief Adviser of EWU was the programme chair on the occasion.
The programme was also attended by Professor Dr M M Shahidul Hassan, vice chancellor, EWU; Professor Dr Anup Chowdhury, dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, EWU; A F Nesaruddin FCA, President, ICAB; N K A Mobin FCA, vice president, ICAB; and Dr Farhana Ferdousi, chairperson, DBA, EWU. Dr Nikhil Chandra Shil, associate professor, DBA, EWU facilitated the programme. A large number of faculty members and students from the Department of Business Administration and officials from ICAB and EWU also attended the programme.
