A man was killed when a car rammed into his motorcycle at Nilkhet intersection in the captal on Sunday.
The incident took place near a filling station at the intersection at 2:45pm. The deceased was identified as Afsar Uddin, 55.
“The car and its driver, who also happens to the owner of the vehicle, have been detained following the incident,” KM Ashraf Uddin, officer-in-charge of Lalbagh Police Station, said after confirming the incident.
