Renowned Bangladeshi actor Mosharraf Karim and new generation actress Samira Khan Mahi have paired up in a drama tilted ‘Neshar Latim’. Written by Chayan Dev and directed by Sohel Hasan, the shooting of the play took place at a location in the capital’s Uttara area on Saturday.
Actors Shilpi Sarkar Apu and Mahmudul Islam Mithu have also played two important roles in the project.
About the drama Mosharraf Karim said, “The story of the drama is about the dwellers of a slum. A man of the slum is drug addicted. He is unhappy with his family life. He always engages in quarrels with her wife. At the same time, from the slum, he observes the surrounding people and their innermost thoughts. How those people actually see other people in the society. Thus the story of the drama continues… I have acted in several dramas under the direction of Sohel. He always tries to do well. Mahi is also acted well in the play. I hope the audience will get a good message from the drama.”
Samira Khan Mahi said, “It is really a privilege to be able to work with Mosharraf bhai. He himself explains various types of corrections on the set.
What I could not learn in acting in the last two years. He is really very helpful. I’ve tried my level best to portray myself according to the character.”
