Speaking as the chief guest, Shafiqul Islam Shimul said, “BSCIC is an industry built in the hands of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman himself. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has played a vital role in the development of this sector through various development-oriented packages”.
Bangladesh is moving forward as a developing country. The government is providing special attention to industrialization for economic progress. Necessary steps are being taken to build an industrial park in Natore, he added.
BSCIC Chairman Mushtaq Hasan said that Bangabandhu wanted to develop Bangladesh through small and cottage industries. His daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working to bring about an industrial revolution following his footsteps. Due to the lack of advanced technology, large-scale industrial organization could not be established in Bangladesh so far.
Entrepreneurs are entering the golden age due to Sheikh Hasina's various industrial packages. Initiatives are also being taken with the target of creating 2 crore jobs and 21 crore entrepreneurs in the future.
