Folk queen Momtaz Begum won many people’s hearts by her singing. She also won the National Film Award for Best Singer of 2019. The popular singer sang two new songs in the same studio in one day this time. The two songs written by famous lyricist Hasan Matiur Rahman and the music composed by Mushfiqur Litu to the tune of Nazir Mahmood.
On January 26 night, the recording of the two songs was completed at a studio in the capital's Mouchak. Lyricist Hasan Matiur Rahman himself has confirmed the matter.
Regarding this he also said, “Singer and honourable member of Jatiya Sangsad our beloved Momtaz Begam, sang the song wonderfully. Not because it is my own writing but I also liked it very much.
It is obvious to appreciate good work for an artist whenever he/she is happy with the work. As a lyricist tears came to my eyes with joy when Momtaz said he loved these songs, it is a quality of her. Never be stingy in praising people. I believe the listeners will also like the two songs.” The lyricist also said that the two songs will be released soon.
