Mohammedan Sporting Club and Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra shared points in their respective matches in the TVS Bangladesh Premier League football on Monday.
Held at the Shaheed Dhirendra Nath Stadium, Cumilla, Mohammedan Sporting Club made a goalless draw with Bangladesh Police FC.
Mohammed SC, who started the league aiming to remain among the top four of the point table, could maintain up to four round. After sharing with Bangladesh Police Mohammedan made their tally 14 from 10 matches when they are now on seventh position and have one match to play in the first leg.
Bangladesh Police, after snatching a valuable points from the favourites, made their tally 16 from 10 matches and expecting to finish the first phase on fifth place.
In the other match of the league, Sheikh Russel KC again shared points when Rahmatganj MFS forced them to make 1-1 draw.
Sheikh Russel KC, one of the top ranking team of the league have been struggling from the beginning, when they suffered five defeats, drew four and could manage only win to earn seven points out of 10 matches.
Mohammed Jewel scored for Russel and Nwadialu leveled the margin for Rahmatganj.
