Cox's Bazar district administration and Cox's Bazar district Chhatra League started the journey of the mobile hospital in Cox's Bazar. Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government Helal Uddin Ahmed inaugurated the Mobile Hospital’ at Khurushkul Union in Cox's Bazar SadarUpazila on Saturday.
Cox's Bazar district administration and Cox's Bazar district Chhatra League have started this program with the aim of ensuring medical services to the homeless people in the corona disaster with the slogan "Doctor to patient, not patient to doctor".
Cox's Bazar Deputy Commissioner Kamal Hossain, District Superintendent of Police ABM MasudHossain, District Awami League General Secretary and Mayor Mujibur Rahman, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Shahjahan Ali and District BCL President Ishtiaq Ahmed Joy were present at the inaugural function.
The first day of the mobile hospital started at 10 am in Khurushkul Union with the aim of providing home-based health services. These medical service activities will continue in different unions of Cox's Bazar district.
