A regular mobile court headed by an Executive Magistrate will be operated to ensure mandatory use of mask in the district from Monday. Moreover, the concerned authorities will once again be directed to take necessary action to avoid mass-gathering and boarding of no passenger on the public transports without wearing mask.
The District and the Upazila level offices of the Women Affairs Department will also conduct mass awareness programmes to resist violence against women and to check the early-mariage. The Islamic Foundation will also request the Imams of the mosques to discuss among devotees on maintaining religious harmony and to discourage spreading of rumour.
The decisions were taken in a monthly Law and Order Meeting of November held thorugh online where Deputy Commissioner of Khulna Helal Hossain presided over.
The meeting further mentioned, the public awareness programme to control the second phase of Coronavirus attack will continue throughout the distric and setting up of Oxygen Bank and the High Flow Nasal canula will be ensured in all upazilas of Khulna. The meeting also asked the law enforcement agency members and the concerned authorities to remain vigilant to check deterioration of law and order situation during the ensuing Union Parishad and the Municipal Elections.
The meeting was attended, among others, by Superintendent of Police of Khulna SM Shafiullah, Deputy Commissioner of KMP SM Shakiluzzaman, concerned upazila chairmen, UNOs', government officials and the members of the committee. Additional District Magistrate of Khulan Yousuf Ali Beg presented the situation of law and order of Khulna through the power point.
