Uber Eats appointed Misha Ali to lead Uber Eats’ operations in Bangladesh. With 12 years of experience in e-commerce and start-ups, Misha Ali, a native of Bangladesh will focus on launching and building Uber Eats’ business in Bangladesh, starting with Dhaka.
Prior to joining Uber Eats, Misha held leadership positions in prominent local and international companies such as Bikroy.com, Renata Limited, Hewlett Packard and Ogilvy. Most recently Misha founded Cookups - Bangladesh’s leading home-chef aggregator, a platform that empowers housewives by giving them financial independence while working from home.

“I have always been passionate about getting delicious food to consumers at their doorstep through technology. Food delivery is about to become a massive industry in Bangladesh, and the opportunities for food delivery companies are endless. Uber Eats started in 2014 as a small delivery pilot in Los Angeles and launched as a separate application in Toronto in December 2015. Since then, it has grown incredibly fast, and is now a stand-alone app available in 350+ cities around the globe.
