Mohammedan Sporting Club all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz was fined for losing his temper during a match in Dhaka Premier League (DPL) at BKSP.
During the 14th over, Miraz was given out by the umpire when City Club’s Asif Hasan appealed for an LBW. Miraj expressed his displeasure on the field and was enraged towards the dugout.
Unable to accept the out decision, he misbehaved with the umpire. At the end of the game, the match referee Akhtar Ahmed fined him 10 thousand taka for his outrageous behaviour as a level-1 crime. Mohammedan clinched a comprehensive 101-run victory over City Club with skipper Imrul Kayes’ century and Shakib Al Hasan’s all-around performance.
