Dhallywood popular model, actress of present time is Bidya Sinha Mim. It is learnt that the popular actress has turned down Bollywood’s offer!
Regarding this context Mim said, ‘she was offered a movie by Vishal Bharadwaj, a famous Bollywood producer. Who has made delightful movies like ‘Maqbool’, ‘Haider’, ‘Omkara’ and ‘Kaminey’. Before last Eid she got a mail all of a sudden. In the mail she was offered for a role in a movie titled 'Khufia'. Mim was very happy to get the offer. Everything was waiting to be finalised. But after a few days, when she heard the story of the movie, she was no longer interested in doing the film. That's why the actress has turned it down.’
In her comment, ‘After reading the story, I saw it is the story of the political genre and Bangladesh has not been properly presented in the story. The story has been made without knowing the politics of Bangladesh and some other things properly. All things considered, it would not be right to engage in any such misrepresentation. I also talked about it with some of my acquaintances. They also give the same opinion. Then I politely refused to do the film.’
"It was the first time I got an offer to act in a Bollywood movie, but there is a sadness of not being able to do it. In future there may be an opportunity for me with a better story than this,' she added.
Meanwhile, Mim is currently working on a movie titled 'Antarjal'. Directed by Dipankar Dipan, along with young stars like Siam Ahmed, ABM Sumon and Sunerah Binte Kamal.
