Milestone College celebrated World Teachers' Day 2023 by honoring teachers and remembering their contribution to build a civilized nation. World Teachers' Day is celebrated on Thursday every year as a special day for teachers.
This year's theme of the day was ‘The Teachers We Need for The Education We Want: The Global Imperative to Reverse The Teacher Shortage’.
On the occasion, a colorful procession was organised at the permanent campus of Milestone College located at Diabari, Uttara. Principal of Milestone College Mohammad Ziaul Alam and Senior Director (Administration) of Milestone College Md. Masud Alam participated in the event along with the teachers.
A special discussion was held before the procession. While Principal Mohammad Ziaul Alam said-'Teachers are the artisans of making people. Our world is enlightened and beautiful with their selfless efforts.'' Highlighting the role of a teacher in a person's life, Principal Mohammad Ziaul Alam said- After parents, the person who contributes the most in shaping our life is our revered teacher. Today we will deeply respect and remember those great teachers.
