A mild cold-wave is blowing through the entire Rajshahi district as the day temperature is continually turning low for over the last one week.
According to Meteorological Office sources in Rajshahi, a mild cold wave has been blowing through Rajshahi and other northern districts since early Wednesday morning. As a result, the intensity of cold has increased and till 1-00 PM, the entire district is being surrounded by dense fog.
On Wednesday early morning the lowest day temperature in Rajshahi was recorded 9.8 degree Celsius while the same time on Tuesday the lowest recorded temperature was 10.5 degree Celsius.
Weather department sources further indicate, the cold wave and fog are likely to continue for next several days. Specially, the areas beside the rivers would face further dense fog and a dip in mercury.
