MikroTik Academy launches RouterOS at DIU

MikroTik Academy expanding RouterOS learning possibilities has been launched for the first time in Bangladesh at Daffodil International University (DIU). The launching ceremony was held on Sunday at conference room of the university.

Syed Abu Saleh, coordinator of MikroTik Academy, Bangladesh and managing director of Sastech Ltd was present at the opening ceremony as the chief guest while SabbirAhamed, general manager of Daffodil Online and Md Taslim Arefin, associate professor and head, Department of ETE, DIU was present as the special guest and Nadir Bin Ali, joint director (IT) of DIU and Md Anowar Habib Kazal, Senior Assistant Director (Public Relation) of DIU was present as the guest of honor.

MikroTik Academy programme is for increasing expertise in networking for the students and professionals of educational institutions such as universities, technical schools, colleges, vocational schools, and other educational institutions.

While addressing as the chief guest Syed Abu Saleh said that Mikortic device is a very popular networking device in the world at present. So the students who want to build career in networking must have to learn Mikrotic.

He also said, “Mikrotic is using in most of the bank, hospital, university, private and government office in Bangladesh. But we have not enough skilled mikrotic manpower. So we needed lot of mikrotic certified manpower in his sector. In the meantime he gave thanks to DIU for opening MikroTik Academy in this campus.

SabbirAhamed said that MikroTik Academy is open in Bangladesh first time and no doubt that it’s a privilege for Daffodil students and simultaneously other young students also. DIU wants to build a technology based human resource.
