Music fans and collectors have a chance to own pieces of history as Propstore prepares for a major auction featuring items from music legends like Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, and Oasis. The auction, scheduled for November 15, aims to raise around £2 million ($2.61 million) and will include over 350 music memorabilia items used by or belonging to these stars.

Among the highlights is a Jimi Hendrix master tape containing four unreleased demo recordings. The tape comes in a special box that Hendrix personally labeled with the song titles. Fans of Michael Jackson can look forward to framed lyrics of his hit song "Beat It," handwritten by the King of Pop himself, along with some iconic jackets. One of the standout pieces is a black and gold military-style jacket, estimated to sell for between £200,000 and £400,000 ($261,000 - $522,000). Another jacket, worn during the "Thriller" tour rehearsals, features several famous signatures, including Jackson's and those of the director John Landis and jacket designer Deborah Landis.

Noel Gallagher's guitars will also be a major attraction. Propstore claims this is the largest collection of Oasis guitars ever offered at auction, including Gallagher's first guitar with the band, a cream Hohner JT60, with an estimated price of £25,000 to £50,000.

In addition, other notable items include John Lennon's 1962 Fawn JMI Vox AC15 Twin amplifier, expected to fetch between £100,000 and £200,000, and a synthesizer used by Prince for his famous song "Purple Rain," which could sell for £50,000 to £100,000.

This exciting auction promises a unique opportunity for fans and collectors alike.
