After the inauguration on Wednesday till March 26, the Metrorail will not stop at any intermediate station on the Uttara-Agargaon route, MAN Siddique said, adding that they have all preparations to touch other stations of the Metrorail. Metro Rail will not stop at all stations now because people are not used to it. But by March people will get accustomed to it.

“Our metro rail fare has been fixed in the light of current times. In countries where fares are low metro rails were built long ago there. Metrorail cannot be made profitable by fares. So, we will build station plazas and earn from there,” added MAN Siddique.
