Metro rail will drop and pick up passengers at Pallabi station from January 25 as work of the station will soon be completed for operation.
"Metro rail will stop at Pallabi station from January 25 . . . the station will soon be ready for passengers," DMTCL Managing Director MAN Siddique said at a press conference Monday.
At present, the Metrorail runs between Diabari to Agargaon without any stops in between.
Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) MD said the metro rail will run from 8:30am to 12:30pm instead of 8am.
He said the gate will open from 8am and close at 12 noon.
MAN Siddique said during the first 10 days of metro rail operation, around 90,000 passengers used the service while DMTCL earned around Taka 88 lakh.
