The Annual Business Summit - 2024 of Mercantile Bank PLC was held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka on Friday.The heads of the 152 branches & 42 Sub-branches, Regional Heads and all Head of Divisions participated in the business summit. Morshed Alam, Chairman of the Board of Directors was the chief guest while Managing Director & CEO Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury presided over the program.ASM Feroz Alam, Vice Chairman; Md. Anwarul Haq, Vice Chairman of the BOD & Chairman, Risk Management Committee; Al-Haj Akram Hossain (Humayun), Chairman, Executive Committee; M. Amanullah, Chairman, Mercantile Exchange House (UK) Limited; MA Khan Belal, Chairman, Mercantile Bank Securities Ltd.; Mohammad Abdul Awal, Director spoke as special guests. AMD & CRO Mati Ul Hasan and CFO Tapash Chandra Paul, PhD also spoke in the conference.

Bank’s Chairman Morshed Alam said that banking sector took the lead to keep country’s economic stability despite having challenges emanated from Middle East crisis, Russia-Ukraine war and economic downswing over the world.
Bank’s MD & CEO provided the participating officials with significant guidelines regarding the achievement of the annual business targets of 2024.
