This is quite normal nowadays to recognize K-pop world because of the 7 members Korean boy group BTS. It's not easy to find anyone who didn't hear their names. This year their junior group called Tomorrow X Together a.k.a TXT debuted from the same agency they are in. Their agency BigHit Ent. is known all around the world not just for its idols also because of their connection and affection towards the fans. According to their website, the meaning behind "Tomorrow X Together" is five individuals who "come together under one dream in hopes of building a new tomorrow".
TXT's debut made a large impact to the kpop fans all around the world. 5 members boy group TXT's members are Choi Soobin, Choi Yeonjun, Choi Beomgyu, Kang Taehyun and Huening Kai. They are still so young, their ages are between 17 to 20. They broke the record with their debut album The Dream Chapter: Star, the group topped iTunes’ album charts in forty-four countries, one of them being the U.S. According to E News. Their debut single "Crown" was released on March 4 and within 24 hours had accumulated 14,493,378 views. It was also the No. 1 trending video on YouTube after release. TXT’s “Crown” entry on iTunes album chart is a first for any K-Pop debut.
After releasing the first album, TXT announced their first-ever tour, a six-show debut showcase in most major U.S. markets, including New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando, and Atlanta.[19] Tickets to all the shows were sold out in less than 24 hours. The achievements of TXT is encouraging them to better job in the future. The group already caught the eyes of many famous international magazines. They are always in contact with the fans on Twitter, Fancafe and Weverse. The members are working hard to achieve the stage that BigHit and their Senior group BTS have built for them. The leader of the group Choi Soobin said, "This is a great honor for us to name after the biggest boyband in the world right now. We're a little bit nervous to be called their little brothers' group, so many people are looking at us, BTS' members always encourage us to move forward and we respect them so much. They've worked so hard to get here and I'm sure if we do the same we'll be good. BigHit and BTS have made the path for us, we will do our best to do a great job"
Choi Yeonjun, the oldest of the group is the main dancer and main rapper of the group was a kpop trainee for 5 years. He said that being a trainee was hard but it was worth the waiting.
TXT's fans call themselves The MOA or Moments Of Alwaysness. When we asked the fans, if BTS is the reason for liking TXT, one of them said, "The answer is quite promising to say, obviously BTS have made the path for them but TXT's concept is completely different from BTS. Their agency BigHit Ent. always comes up with a proper concept to attract the fans and TXT is no different. Their concept is so genuine. We like them for who they are, not because of BTS. TXT's members are still young, they have a long way to go. We stan them because we seek talent. These guys are talented and unique. We're so glad that they've found BTS as their seniors as BTS is called the best kpop legends."
Another fan said, "Obviously we love BTS and TXT equally. Thanks to their agency BigHit Ent. for always reaching out to us. And together we're MoArmy (the name of the fandom who stan both of the groups, BTS and TXT). The members of TXT are so passionate and overwhelming. Listening to their music make us realizing the fact of youth. They talk about the growing pains during adolescence, friendship and youth. Listening to their songs after a long day makes it all better. It's a good thing that they're not afraid of making mistakes, they want to learn through making mistakes, they never fail to make us happy."
When we asked them again that there are other rookie groups like ATEEZ, X1, CIX and more then why they chose TXT, their answer was, "Because they're different. All kpop groups are good. We like them all, but when it comes to TXT, all changed. Their concept really shows the real life stories, like they are actually talking to us. And when you know that you're feeling the connection that's what makes you more obsessed. They're just that."
The fans of BTS and TXT never forget to thank their agency BigHit Ent. for being different and unique than any other entertainment companies in South Korea. BigHit Ent. always comes out for their fandom. The CEO of the company, Bang Si-Hyuk is known to be the father of BTS and TXT comes out to meet the fans when BTS or TXT aren't even there due to busy schedules. We've found out that one of the big reasons for loving BTS and TXT is the connection between their fandom and CEO. Bang Si-Hyuk, the CEO of BigHit Ent. care about the idols' mental health and fandom, this is the most important thing to him to make a beautiful outcome. The fans also show their affection and respect towards him.
This is already noted that, there's a massive TXT's fanbase in our country. BTS members are impressed by their juniors and they said that if TXT keep going the way they are now, they're gonna be global icon soon. The performance TXT is delivering to their audiences is still amazing. We're surely hoping to see the little guys going ahead.
