Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain has said that the answer sheets of examination of medical college students should not be examined in the same college. The result sheets should be prepared after examining the answer sheets in different medical college.
The chief justice made the comment during hearing of a case in a five-member bench of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Thursday.

He said that any public university does not examine the answer sheets of examination of their students. However, the answer sheets of written examination of the medical college students were examined in the same college and the results were prepared in the same medical college. It should not be continued. The chief justice told Barrister Tanjib-ul-Alam, the lawyer who were representing the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) in the apex court, that the system of examining the answer sheets of medical college students is not appropriate.
