There has been a massive reshuffle in the top positions of fuel oil marketing companies under the control of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC).
BPC issued office orders in this regard last Wednesday.
Thursday was the last working day for those who were contractually appointed to the posts of managing directors of these oil marketing companies,
BPC officials said major reshuffle took place at the state-owned enterprises Padma Oil Company, Meghna Petroleum Limited and Jamuna Oil Company, LP Gas Limited and Petroleum Transmission Company.
Md. Abdus Sobhan has been appointed as Managing Director of Padma Oil Company Limited. Prior to, he was Managing Director of LP Gas Limited.
General Manager Mohammad Tipu Sultan has been promoted as Managing Director of Meghna Petroleum Limited while Kudrat-e-Elahi, Senior General Manager (Trade) of BPC, has been promoted to the post of Managing Director of Jamuna Oil Company.
Yusuf Hossain Bhuiyan, another senior general manager (audit) of BPC, has been given the
responsibility of managing director of LP Gas.
Raihan Ahmed, General Manager (Operation) of Eastern Refinery Limited has been given the responsibility of Managing Director of Petroleum Transmission Company.
