The people who received first dose of coronavirus vaccine as part of the mass vaccination will get second dose of the vaccine on Thursday to prevent the spread of the epidemic coronavirus.
The Line Director of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and the director of the vaccination program Dr Shamsul Haque confirmed this information to the media on Monday.
He said a special Covid-19 vaccination campaign was held across the country on September 28. As part of the campaign, the second dose will be jabbed among people on October 28.
The campaign will be held mainly on Oct 28 (Thursday). It may be delayed by a day or two in some remote areas.
Shamsul Haque said only the second dose will be given during this campaign. On that day, the special Covid-19 vaccination campaign will be held in all city corporations, municipalities and upazilas across the country.
