March 7 speech an unforgettable event: ATM Pearul Islam

A discussion meeting was held on Thursday morning on the occasion of the historic March 7 celebration at the initiative of Chittagong Zilla Parishad.  Chittagong Zilla Parishad Chairman ATM Pearul Islam was present as the chief guest at the event with Chief Executive Officer Shabbir Iqbal in the chair.

In his speech of the chief guest, ATM Pearul Islam said that Bangabandhu's March 7 speech can be said to be the greatest among all the speeches included in the world heritage. But the miracle is that it was an unwritten speech. The Bengali nation's 23-year independence movement was talked about, as well as the future direction of the Bengali nation.  In this speech, all the necessary issues of the freedom fighters have been summarized. All the words of this speech are meaningful.

Chairman of Zilla Parishad said that the speech of March 7 is an incredible immortal message.  This 18-minute speech silenced people, united the nation. It was Bangabandhu's guiding speech that inspired the Bengali nation to jump into the liberation war.

Father of the Nation Bangabandhu's slogan was, “Who are you, who am I, Bengali Bengali, yours is my address, Padma Meghna Yamuna Bangabandhu gave his own March 7 speech.  Which still stirs the heart of Bengalis.  In exchange for the blood of three million martyrs, the air still resounds in this Bengal and in the skies of this Bengal.  Bangabandhu's immortal words, this time's struggle, the struggle for liberation, this time's struggle, the struggle for freedom.  We are all working to build Smart Bangladesh under the leadership of Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Bangladesh has made great progress in all fields”.

Chittagong Zilla Parishad Executive Officer Md Didarul Alam, Executive Engineer Mohammad Monirul Islam, Member Freedom Fighter Abul Kashem Chishti, Borhan Uddin Md Emran, AM Dilshad, Nurul Mostafa Sikdar Sangram, Muhammad Chiddikur Rahman, HM Ali Abraha, Suraiya Khanum, Farhana Afrin Jinia, were present.
