Sohel Mia (40) tragically lost his life in a road accident on Darussalam Mazar Road in the capital city.
The incident occurred on Sunday early morning around 3 am. Sohel was struck by a vehicle while crossi---ng Mirpur Mazar Road at night, resulting in serious injuries.
He was transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead around 5 am.
Kulsum Akhter, Sohel's wife, shared that they reside on Kalyanpur road number 11. She received the devastating news late that night about her husband's accident on Mazar Road, but details remain unclear. Their village home is in Sadar Upazila, Bhola.
Inspector Md. Bachchu Mia, in charge of Dhaka Medical Police Camp, confirmed Sohel Mia's death and informed that his body awaits post-mortem examination in the hospital's mortuary.
