An unidentified man was killed as a vehicle hit him while crossing the road on the Hanif flyover of Jatrabari in the capital on Friday.
The incident took place at around 2:30 pm. He was brought to the Emergency Department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctor declared him dead.
Kaushik, a pedestrian who brought the old man to the hospital, said that a speedy car knocked the old man when he was crossing the road on
the Tikatuli Hanif flyover of Wari police station. Later, I brought him to the emergency department of DMCH where doctor declared him dead.
Police Camp In-charge of DMCH Inspector Bachchu Miah said the body was kept at the morgue of the emergency department of the hospital.
We informed the matter to Wari Police Station.
