An unidentified man was crushed under the wheels of a train in Joypurhat sadar upazila on Wednesday morning.
According to rail police, a Chilahati-bound Simanta Express train from Khulna ran over the man while he was walking along the rail line in Harizon Colony area around 6 am. He died on the spot. Later, being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to morgue for autopsy.
Santahar Railway Police Station Sub-Inspector Naren Das confirmed it.
