Famous playwright and actor Mamunur Rashid is back on TV with a new series called ‘Phool Bahar.’ The show, written by Matia Banu Shuku and Rajibul Islam Rajib, and directed by Jubaraj Khan, features Mamunur Rashid in a key role.
In the series, Saju Khadem plays Phool, and Ahsan Habib Nasim plays Bahar. The show also includes other talented actors like Nader Chowdhury, Munmun Ahmed, Sanjida Preeti, Iffat Ara Tithi, Maimuna Momo, Nusrat Jannat Ruhi, Jozen, Rizwan Parvez, Ahmed Gias, and Anwara Shahi.
The story of “Phool Bahar” is about the characters Phool and Bahar. Phool is a young man from a middle-class Bengali family. Bahar is a historic spirit who was once a soldier defeated by the British in the Battle of Plassey.
Bahar, who is not at peace, wants to punish those who betrayed his leader, Mir Jafar. Phool, carrying Bahar’s spirit, comes to the city with hopes of making his village, family, and environment better. This journey marks the start of new challenges for Phool Bahar, including love, social issues, and personal ambitions.
Director Jubaraj Khan describes the series as a mix of historical and modern elements, showing how Phool and Bahar’s dreams intertwine. Viewers will see how these characters face obstacles and strive to achieve their goals.
