Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAB) will be offering flight discounts of up to 45% for international and domestic travel in conjunction with the year-end MATTA Fair.
Visitors can plan their holidays at the tour and travel fair this September where many local and overseas tour and travel packages will be exclusively available, report agencies. MAB Group Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Lau Yin May said that MAB, the official airline of the MATTA Fair, will be previewing its offers from September 4. “A preview of our offers will be on sale online at www.malaysiaairlines.com “We would also like to invite everyone to join us at the fair. Not only can you shop for your next holiday with the irresistible deals from hotels to theme parks, but you can also win some amazing prizes,” Lau said at a press conference at the MATTA headquarters on Monday.
Visit the fair and stand to win exciting prizes as MAB will be giving away four business class tickets to London, Bangkok, Jakarta and Brisbane and five economy class tickets to Auckland, Seoul, Shanghai, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching. Meanwhile, MAB sister company, Firefly, will be offering 60% discounts for domestic flights. Visitors to the fair also stand to win return tickets to Alor Star, Johor Baru, Penang, Kota Baru and Terengganu. Lau also urged visitors to check out the travel rewards and benefits on offer such as 20% off on MHinsure, preferred seat selection, extra baggage, access to Malaysia Airlines’ Golden Lounge in KLIA, plus 25% off for the Premium Bundle that provides lounge access and seats with extra legroom or the Value Bundle that offers 10kg extra baggage weight and standard seat selection. “Enrich members who purchase Malaysia Airlines tickets will receive 62% Bonus Miles in conjunction with the Merdeka 62 year celebration,“ Lau added.
MATTA CEO Phua Tai Neng acouldn’t agree more that the MATTA Fair will be an exciting place where Malaysians can plan their holidays. He encourages visitors attending the fair to use public transport as it is easy, fast and convenient. Besides, it will also help avoid causing traffic congestion around the venue. The MATTA Fair will run from Sept 6 to 8 (10am-9pm) at the Putra World Trade Centre. Admission is RM4 per person and free for children aged below 12.
