Dhallywood popular actress Mahiya Mahi has tied the knot for the second time with a Gazipur businessman and politician Kamruzzaman Sarker Rakib.
For quite a few days there were rumours that the heroine was getting married for the second time. Eventually she broke the silence with that buzz and told about the marriage in the middle of the night. Confirming the matter through a Facebook post on Sunday Sept 12 that their marriage formalities was completed at 12:05am on Monday.
Posting the wedding photos on social media, seeking for everyone's blessings the actress wrote, "Today, September 13, at 12:05 am, our wedding was completed." Everything that spread before was really a rumour. Everyone will pray for us, that is the only wish.’
A few days ago, Mahiya Mahi herself wrote on her Facebook status that she will give a surprise on September 13. Many thought that Mahi would bring the word of marriage publicly on this day and it came true this time.
Earlier in 2016, Mahi tied the knot with a businessman Mahmud Pervez Opu of Sylhet which ended up in divorce in May 23 this year.
