Dhallywood popular actress Mahiya Mahi has not been seen on screen for a long time. After seven months gap she is all set to return in acting with a web series titled ‘Mafia’. Soon she will start the shooting of the web series.
The work of 150-episode big budgeted web series titled ‘Mafia’ has begun last year. Some scenes of 'Mafia' were done in Uttara of the capital. Along with Mahiya Mahi actor Misha Saudagar, Emon and Anchal Ankhi have joined the team of web series 'Mafia' this time.
This web series ‘Mafia’ is about the underworld and love stories. On Wednesday the actress has taken part in the shooting.
Directed by Shahin Sumon, Delwar Hossain Dil has written the screenplay of 'Mafia' in the story Selim Khan is producing the web series under the banner of Shapla Media International and it will be released on Shapla Media's YouTube channel and app.
Mahi came in to discussion with Shihab Shaheen directed web series titled 'Marichika'.
Regarding working in ‘Marichika' the actress said, it was a very good experience working in the web series under Shihab Shaheen’s direction. I also got a good response from the audience. The story of ‘Mafia’ is also excellent. I hope this web series will work well.
On the work front Mahi has four films in her hand they are Shahin Sumon's 'Gangster' and Shamim Ahmed Rony's 'Live' and 'Norshundor', Zakir Hossain Raju's 'Artanad'.
In 2012 the actress Mahiya Mahi, a girl from Rajshahi, made her big screen debut with the film 'Bhalobasar Rong' produced by Jazz Multimedia.
Later, she acted in several popular films including 'Agni', 'Ki Darun Dekhte', ‘Dabir Saheb's Sansar', ‘Onek Sadher Moyna’, 'Dhaka Attack'.
