Madaripur bit policing resolve village feud

Hindrance of village development have been resolved by discussing the long-standing problems of the villagers under the guidance of Mada­ripur District Superintendent of Police Masud Alam. On Friday afternoon, thousands of people of the village submitted different types of indigenous weapons to Dasar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Hasanuzza­man in a beat policing meeting at Khatial High School ground of Khatial village of Dasar police station in Madaripur district. With this, beat policing solved a 35 year-long ongoing feud.

At this time the villagers take a vow not to get involved in any kind of dispute, they all want to live together in peace in the village. In this regard, Baligram Union Chairman Mujibur Rahman said, I am very happy that peace has returned to my union. I am more happy that I could help in this work.

  Hasanuzzaman, officer-in-charge of Dasar Police Station, said that with the guidance and cooperation of Madaripur District Superintendent of Police Masud Alam sir, we have been able to solve the long-standing problem of village factionalism through discussions in the Bit Policing meeting.

Dasar Police Station OC Manjurul Islam, Baligram Union Chairman Mojibur Rahman, Union Awami League President Matiur Rahman Molla, Kalkini and Dasar Upazila Television Journalist Forum President Harun Or Rashid, Bhurghata Press Club President Zafarul Hasan and other officials were present.
