Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over the eight divisions across the country.
The BMP made the prediction at its regular weather bulletin on Thursday (September 21, 2023).
According the Met bulletin, “Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with heavy to heavy falls at places over the country.”
The day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said the bulletin.
The country’s maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded as 33.5 degree Celsius jointly at Rangpur and Sayedpur and the minimum temperature on Thursday was recorded by 23.8 degree Celsius at Tetulia.
