Light rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over three southern divisions-- Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram.
"Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country," said a weather forecast issued by Met Office on Monday.
Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 33.5 degree Celsius at Chattogram and Monday's minimum temperature 13.00 degree Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.
The Cyclonic Storm "Michaung" (pronunciation: Migjaum) over the Southwest Bay and the adjoining areas moved North-Northwestwards and now lies over the West Central Bay of Bengal and the adjoining areas (near Lat: 13.3oN & Long: 81.1oE) at 6.00am on Monday.
It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and intensify further.
The sun sets at 05.11 pm on Monday and rises at 06.27 am on Tuesday in the capital.
