The 2nd day of the three-day 'Leathertech-2022' marked huge crowd as visitors and a good number of leather sector businessmen turned out to the fair on Thursday at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the city.
Leather goods and Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) organizes the expo with the objectives to showcasing the leather products, exchanging innovative ideas and among the investors and to attract the foreign Buyers.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi on Wednesday inaugurated the expo formally.
Sector insiders expressed their hope that there is a lot of scope for development and export of leather industry. Currently, the export of leather sector is more than $1 billion. In 2030, this export may be $10 billion.
