Published : 17 Jan 2024 09:19 PM

Infinix, the innovative technology brand, wowed attendees at CES 2024 with the launch of two groundbreaking charging technologies. At the ShowStoppers event during the second week of January, Infinix introduced ‘AirCharge’ and ‘Extreme-Temp Battery’.

AirCharge: This over-the-air wireless charging technology eliminates the need for cables, allowing users to charge devices wirelessly at a distance of 0–20 centimeters. Powered by multi-coil magnetic resonance tech and adaptive algorithms, AirCharge delivers up to 7.5W of power. It accommodates tilted coils up to 60 degrees, catering to gamers and video enthusiasts. Infinix ensures safety with an over-voltage protection circuit, enabling users to install the charging pad underneath tables for uninterrupted phone use.

Extreme-Temp Battery: Addressing challenges faced by mobile phones in freezing conditions, Infinix introduced the Extreme-Temp Battery. Operational at an impressive -40°C, this innovative battery technology is set to debut on Infinix phones in the second half of 2025, offering a solution to capacity reduction and charging issues in extreme cold environments.

Both technologies showcase Infinix's commitment to pushing the boundaries of mobile innovation. CES 2024, organized by the Consumer Technology Association, served as the platform for the global debut of these cutting-edge advancements. The event, held from January 9th to 12th, featured presentations on the latest products and technologies in the consumer electronics industry.
