The newly-appointed Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kurigram Nusrat Sultana held a view-exchange meeting with the journalists of the district Press Club at the conference room of the deputy commissioner’s office on Monday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Uttam Kumar Roy was also present at that time.
Kurigram district Press Club president Assistant Professor Aniruddha Reza, general secretary Aminur Rahman, organizing secretary Nurul Islam, IT affairs secretary Atikur Rahman Rana, Fulbari Press Club general secretary Jakaria Mia and others spoke at the meeting.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Nusrat Sultana said importance will be given on sending the unemployed people of Kurigram abroad to solve the poverty of the region.
