RAB-14, CPC-2 arrested three drug dealers along with 20.5 kg of hemp.RAB arrested them from theNandail crossroads at Monday (April 5).
The arrested are Junaid, son of Asad Miah of Gochamara village in Shimulkandi union of Bhairab upazila, Milon Miah, son of late Shahid Miah of the same village and Sumon Miah, son of late Hossain Miah of Kamalpur Paschimpara area.
According to RAB, a secret information was received that a gang was doing business by collecting drugs in Kishoreganj. Three drug dealers were detained along with 20.5 kg of hemp, a private car, four mobile phones and Taka 1,200 in cash while setting up and operating a check post at Nandail crossroads.
RAB-14, CPC-2, Kishoreganj camp company captain Lt. Commander M Shovon Khan BN said that during the preliminary interrogation, the detainees confessed to being involved in drug trafficking.
A case is being filed against the arrested persons at Nandail Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act 2016.
