World River Day was observed in Kishoreganj by the initiative of the district administration. A discussion meeting was held on this occasion in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner on Sunday morning. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shamim Alam was attened as chief guest. Local Government Department Deputy Director Md Habibur Rahman presided over the meeting.
Roads & Highway Department Executive Officre Ritesh Barua, Additional Deputy Commission (General) Mohammad Golam Mustafa, Additional Police Super (Admin) Mustak Sarker, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education & ICT) Farzana Khanam, Govt. Gurudayal College Associate Professor Rihas Ahmed, Environment Department Senior Chemist Rubaiyat Tahrim Sourav, Assistant Commissioner Md. Mahbub Hasan, Journalist Saiful Hoque Mollah Dulu, Alam Sarowar Tito, Saiful Malekh Chowdhury, Ruhul Amin Chowdhury, Sajan Ahammed Papon, Rejibul Hoque Siddique and others were attended the meeting.
After the discussion meeting, a colorful rally led by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shamim Alam and Police Super Mohammad Rasel Sheikh PPM (Bar) circled the main road of the town.
