Bashudhara Kings kept their winning spree after thrashing Chittagong Abahani Limited by 5-0 in the Bashundhara Kings Bangladesh Premier League football at the Bir Sreshtha Fl. Lt Matiur Rahman Stadium Stadium Munshiganj on Friday.
In the day’s other match, Abahani Limited shared points with Fortis FC and Rahmatganj defeated Brothers Union by 2-0.
The result moved the Kings to eight points clear with the second placed Mohammedan Sporting Club, with eight league games left.
Bashundhara Kings, the table toppers made their tally 28 from 11 outings and Mohammedan are second position with 20 matches.
The bitter defeat leaves Chittagong Abahani to ninth-placed, the second bottom side of the points table just eight games to play.
However, National colour Rakib Hossain scored a brace when Dorielton, Robson Robinho, and Gafurov netted one each to down the Port City giants.
