The triennial conference of Kathi union unit of Awami League was held in Gopalganj Sadar on Wednesday amid festive mood.
The triennial conference was held on the premises of Kathi High School with the unit unit president and chairman of Kathi Union Parishad Bachchhu Sheikh in the chair. General Secretary of the union unit Jahangir Hossain conduted the programme.
President of Gopalganj sadar upazila unit of Awami League and mayor of Gopalganj municipality Kazi Liakat Ali was present as the chief guest at the conference. He also inaugurated the programme. General secretary of Gopalganj sadar upazila unit of Awami League Sheikh Rafiqul Islam Mithu was present as chief discussant, while senior vice president of Gopalganj district Awami League Sheikh Mohammad Ruhul Amin was present as special guest.
