The Vikram actor Kamal Haasan has been admitted to a Chennai hospital after suffering from fever-like symptoms. According to the reports, the 68-year-old actor is being treated by a team of doctors at the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre. Just a couple of days ago, the Chachi 420 star flew to Hyderabad to meet his guru K. Vishwanath. He also posted a picture with his mentor on the internet.
According to the official statement released by the hospital, Kamal Haasan was admitted to the hospital on 23rd November for the symptoms of fever,cough and cold. As per reports, the doctors have advised him complete rest for the next couple of days.
The actor is expected to be discharged in a day or two.
Now, talking about Kamal Haasan's professional commitments, the versatile actor is presently shooting for director S Shankar's Indian 2. The film is the sequel to the 1996 blockbuster drama Indian. The project was initially slated to hit the theatres in 2020; however, it was pushed because of an unfortunate crane accident on the sets of the film, which led to the demise of some crew members. Following this, the film was again delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the shooting for the highly-awaited drama has been resumed with full force.
Kamal Haasan will once again entertain movie buffs with his portrayal as Senapathi in Indian 2, alongside Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh and Priya Bhavani Shankar in significant roles, along with others. Music composer Anirudh is rendering the tunes for the film.
Additionally, Kamal Haasan has collaborated with filmmaker Mani Ratnam for a venture named KH234 for now. This exciting project was announced ahead of Kamal Haasan's 68th birthday as a pre-birthday treat for the fans. If the reports are to be believed, KH 234 is likely to go on the floors by mid-2023. The film is expected to release in cinema halls by 2024.
