Mumbai, India – The teaser for the much-anticipated film "Maharagni" has been released, showcasing Bollywood star Kajol in a powerful new action role. The film, directed by Charan Tej Uppalapati, also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Prabhudeva, and Jisshu Sengupta. The teaser was shared on social media on Tuesday, creating a buzz among fans and movie lovers.
Kajol’s husband, Ajay Devgn, took to Instagram to share the teaser with the caption, "Aali re aali, Maharagni aali," indicating the arrival of a strong and fierce character.
The teaser begins with Prabhudeva stepping out of an aircraft, holding a baseball bat. His character seems intense and dangerous as he uses the bat to beat someone. His voiceover adds to the suspense: "Do you know what's more terrifying than death? The feeling that grips you just before you die."
Next, the teaser introduces Samyuktha Menon, whose character is driven by revenge. Her voiceover, as she speeds through a neon-lit street, says, "I have waited patiently for years. Now it is time to teach them a lesson."
Accompanied by exciting music, the teaser then features Kajol. She makes a grand entrance from a car during a festival, dressed in a striking red pantsuit. Her character’s powerful line, "You do not ask for power, you snatch it," sets the tone for her fierce fight scenes.
