Actor Abdul Kader returned home from Chennai, India on Sunday with an alarming physical condition. He reached Dhaka at 1.30 pm on Sunday. After returning to the country, the actor was admitted to the capital's Evercare Hospital directly from the airport.
The news was confirmed by Abdul Quader's daughter-in-law Zahida Islam Jenny. He said Abdul Kader's physical condition was critical. Actor Abdul Kader, who is suffering from cancer, will be kept at Evercare Hospital until his condition improves, Jenny said.
Jenny said, 'Dad is not well now. The haemoglobin in the blood is decreasing.
Doctors in Chennai could not give chemotherapy for this. Now the treatment will be under the joint supervision of the doctors of Evercare Hospital and the doctors of Chennai Hospital. Everyone pray for my father.’ Abdul Kader has been seriously ill for a month.
He was taken to Chennai on December 8 for advanced treatment. He was diagnosed with cancer at a hospital.
Doctors said his condition was critical and the cancer had spread throughout his body. He is in the fourth stage of infection.
Abdul Kader gained immense popularity by playing the role of 'Badi' in Humayun Ahmed's serial 'Kothao Keu Nei'.
He has also been seen regularly on HanifSanket's popular magazine show 'Ittadi.'
