Bangladesh Women cricket team enjoyed their tour of South Africa when the Tigresses won a T-20 and an ODI match against the hosts.
Winning match against one of the strongest team in women’s cricket at their home venue is a big achievement for the women cricketers.
The T-20 series was 1-1 tie when the first of three-match series was abandoned due to rain. Captain Jyoti and her Co., though lost the ODI series by 2-1, brightened their chance to win after making 1-1. Women Cricket Team reached the Dhaka on Monday night after completing the tour.
Joyti, who faced the media on arrival at the airport, in her reaction said, “Of course, there was big chance for us to win the both T20 and ODI series. So, I am not frustrated about the team’s performances. We won over South Africa at their home ground for the first time. We scored more than 200 runs in two ODI in a row which was very impressive for us.”
It was no doubt a big success for the batters of scoring 200 or more than 200 runs in the South Africa at their condition. Jyoti replying queries said, “I think we got relief from some negative beliefs against the women cricketers. We will have to more attentive in the game in the future,” added Jyoti.
