A tripartite housing loan agreement has been signed between Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST), Ministry of Finance and Agrani Bank on Monday to offer loans to teachers and staff members of JUST for construction of house at only 4 percent simple interest.
Permanent teachers and staff members of JUST will get the loan facility up to a maximum of Tk75 lakh at that rate of interest from Agrani Bank according to location and grade of salary scale.
JUSTRegistrar Professor Md. Abdul Majid on behalf of the varsity, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Finance EkhlashurRahman and Managing Director of Agrani Bank Mohammad Shams-ul Islam signed the agreement at the Bangladesh Secretariat.
