A short film titled 'Infinity' made by the students of Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) has won the Best Film Award in the South Indian International Short Film Festival.
The short film, made by three students of the Microbiology Department of the University was the best film at the ‘Karnataka Youth International Short Film Festival 2021’.
Those students recently received an e-mail confirming the news.
The short film was directed and scripted by student Redwan Ullah Himel and starred Majharul Islam Ashiq and Bintu Fahim. Actor Mazharul Islam said, “After making the film, we sent it to about 12 festivals for competition, five of which selected our film. It was selected as the Best Film in one of them.”
